Current Music: "Cookie Jar" by Jack Johnson
So we've got 4 days until graduation. That's insane.
But, more importantly, I should catch up on grooves to be shared.
-"Traffic in the Sky" by Jack Johnson
-"Fell in Love With a Girl" by The White Stripes
-"Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by Cake
-"Runnin' on Fumes" by Keller Williams
-"Worms Vs. Birds" by Modest Mouse
-"Champange Supernova" by Oasis
-"Cut Your Hair" by Pavement
-"Wolf at the Door" by Radiohead
-"Crowd Control" by Phish

There you have it, those are some of my favorites. However random, I really like them, so feel free to download them illegally, like the cool cat that you are.

In other news, I'm working on a new mix, I'll post the playlist soon.

Alright, I'm ready for school to end. These past 2 days have been far too long. And I only have 3 more to go. Anyways, school isn't that bad,

1st period: Art IV it's pretty easy,

2nd period: Spanish VH, in which we are watching "Ray"...in English.

3rd period: Pre-calculus...we're actually still doing work in there.

4th period: Physics...Watch, as Mr. Stacks tries to control students who don't give a damn about physics, science, or school.

5th period: American Romantics...Ms. Fishman one crazy lady, and I'm honestly a little afraid of her. We're still doing work though.

6th period: Lunch (Off-Campus on Wednesdays)

7th period: Newspaper...chill, listen to music, and enjoy the occasional visit from the Anderson twins.

8th period: U.S. History AP...we're watching "Supersize Me," it's a classic.

Although this is a really easy schedule, I'm still sick of it. I can honeslty say that I am sick of Latin (not all of the students) just the school itself.

In other news, I re-formatted my eljay and made meself a new icon. It sure is purdy.

Current Music: "46 Days" by Phish
Alright, so I just saw Trey Anastasio last night in concert. It was the best show I've ever been to. Perhaps it was the shredding and wailing guitar solos, perhaps it was the covers of Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Phish, and Peter Gabriel, or perhaps it was the opening band's electric washboard solo. Whatever it was, it blew my mind. Thanks to Brandon, I was able to get 4TH ROW TICKETS!!! I could see the individual hairs of Trey's beard I was so close. So anyways, that was an amazing experience, and I was stunned for about 2 hours afterwards.
But alas, I have an AP exam tomorrow. U.S. History AP...I plan to take it over my knee. But none of that really matters...because I saw Trey...and in about a month...I'm seeing him again with Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Gomez, Medeski Martin & Wood, and The Brazilian Girls. If you're interested, you can visit www.zoomatour.com and get lawn tickets so we can watch it together...But none of that matters...because I saw Trey.

Groove to be shared: "Does He Love You?" by Rilo Kiley. Liz Fuller is preforming this song on Wed. at the talent show, and she's got talent.
I must say, its nice to be almost done with high school. I'll miss all of my friends, but I know everyone is going to be very happy.
Yesterday I applied for my first job. I'm hopefully going to be a baker, but we'll see. I also am looking at working at the camp where "Heavyweights" was filmed. A film classic, I might add.
Alright, well, that does it for me, sorry about the lame postage, it'll pick back up.

Well I appreciate all the passionate commenting on the last post. And I think its going to be interesting to visit both schools. Anyways, I'm up very early this morning (Saturday may I remind you) because I have to drive 25 minutes to school, have someone film me playing Ultimate for 15 minutes, and then drive back. And what is this for? The booster club sports banquet. Boo.

Current Music: "Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO
Well, the final College count stands. (In Alphabetical Order) Bowdoin: Denied, Colgate: Denied, Davidson: Accepted, Dickinson: Accepted, Gettysburg: Accepted, Hamilton: Accepted, and Whitman: Accepted. Bowdoin can go mispronounce its own akwardly spelled name, and Colgate can brush its teeth. Gettysburg is nice, but I hear its haunted, and Scooby is too far away. Whitman is pretty cool, but its in Arid Eastern Washington State...is that appealing to you? So that leaves the big three, Hamilton, which I haven't visited, but I hear it's nice, Davidson which is great, but really close, and Dickinson which is awesome, but not as good (academically) as Davidson. So basically, I have a very tough decision to make. Wish me luck.

Well, I'm in Denmark with my sister having a great time. Denmark is an awesome country (that's right, it's its own country), and the whole family is having lots of fun. I hope everyone else is having a great spring break. By the way, I realize that I've been lagging on the grooves to be shared recently, so here's a few to catch up with: "Fighting in a Sack" by The Shins, and "One More Robot" by The Flaming Lips. Now it's your turn, POST!

Current Music: The Song Remains the Same by Led Zeppelin
well, I sure did change my picture. I felt that the other one, although nice, lacked a certain personality, whereas this new one has plenty of colour and other stuff too. It took a while to make though, lots of hand colouring in photoshop. Anyways, today's rehersal was a beast. 9:30 to 5:00 (for leads). I can't say that its all fun, but I certainly wouldn't change my mind to audition if I could go back in time. I hope everyone else is having a nice weekend. And by the way, I got my cough all straightened out with the doctor. The groove to be shared is "M.O.R." by Blur, because its production week, and that means that lots of pressure and stress, as the song describes. Oh and also, if you are reading this, and not planning on responding, that's twisted. Reading someone's livejournal without responding is like calling someone and just breathing into the phone. So don't be creepy...RESPOND!

I can honestly say that coughs suck. This miserable virus has plagued my throat for two weeks now, and I'm just about ready to throw myself through a window. But this weekend hasn't been all bad. I got a new set of headphones for my birthday, plus a $50 check. And on the plus side, I did learn how to spell phlegm by reading the back of a bag of coughdrops. Groove to be shared: "Heroin" by The Velvet Underground.

WOW. This has been the best long weekend ever. From my 3rd episode of the O.C. ever, to the Keller Williams show, to Saturday night, to a possible chill session tonight, there has been nothing bad. I hope everyone else is having a great one too. By the way, the groove to be shared is "Izzabella" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

So here's the deal. Because my motto is "Share the Groove," I have decided to start something new. It is based on Stuart Truslow's "Jam of the Week" on his AIM profile, except mine is called "Share the Groove." This coming week's groove to be shared is "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop. So go ahead, share the groove, and jam on reggae woman.

But alas, now I must complete a spanish essay and study for a physics test. Later, phools.

Actually, its the best show yet, as far as music and sound quality. So anyways, ask and you shall receive. Oh yeah, and about the post thing where I write about you, just give me a while, I'm really busy, and it takes a lot longer than you'd think. Later doods.

I am so bored, I am so bored, I'm really really really really really really bored. I realized today how much I miss playing Ultimate. I miss the "thrill of the disc" and the "scent of victory," which, coincidentally, both sound like Yanni song names. Anyways, I guess its the workout that I miss too. Don't get me wrong, the musical is a lot of work, but I just dont get the same excersize skipping down the yellow brick road.
